Networks to Somalia (Northern Somalia)

During the second quarter of 2006, Djibouti Telecom SA initiated interconnection projects with operators in Northern Somalia. Today, 4 different microwave networks are in service with 2 operators namely Telesom, Somtel. The combined bandwidth towards these operators represents about 30 Gbps. Djibouti Telecom is also connected with Somcable by Fiber Optics. The optical fiber is configured at 100 Gbps.
